Internalized homophobia.
🤔 idk this is basically how I feel and I wouldn’t say it’s that. There’s a spectrum to sexuality man
Reposting, bc yes this is internalized homophobia.
“You see men and women as attractive but only see relationships with men as viable, realistic, desirable etc. You’re attracted to women’s bodies, physically aroused by them, but do not see a f/f relationship as ‘doable’, whereas you automatically feel like a m/f one is.
At no point is this about you not being interested in women, but rather, not being able to see yourself WITH a woman, due to the social conditioning of homophobia which you’ve internalized leading to you only accepting heteronormativity as ‘making sense’ or being ‘relatable’ when it comes to romance. Something that adds to this issue is one’s own gender being possibly something more complex, thus leading to an inability to imagine yourself with a woman due to not really understanding what ‘role’ you’d take, whereas in a m/f relationship the female role is preassigned, socially.
Believe me, been there, done that.”
